The very crux of your writing while appearing reasonable at first, did not really work perfectly with me personally after some time. Somewhere throughout the sentences you actually were able to make me a believer unfortunately just for a very short while. I still have got a problem with your jumps in logic and you would do well to help fill in all those breaks. If you can accomplish that, I would definitely end up being fascinated.

hi queenie. sad to say, you cant have it back anymore…

as long as na nagpalit na ng SIM ung subscriber, u cannot locate it anymore….pag malocate mo man, panu mo makukuha ang phone mo.

pero GOOD NEWS, kasi i bought a SAMSUNG phone and i enrolled two numbers na kapag nawala ang phone ko at nagpalit nang SIM ang nakakuha, malalaman ko ang new numbers nya kasi magtetext sa dalawa kong phones…

i tested it 100% okay.

i tries calling it yesterday and it was ringing but nobody’s answering the phone..
and i tried calling it now but the operator said”the number you dial is incorrect”what does that
mean?

the new rate for a software to be installed in ur a-GPS phone is P4500.00 per license per mobile phone unit

the data is validated and we have an after sales where u can call or make a suggestions, complaints and etc.

thats our difference with other free maps. yes other maps are free but u cannot complain because its free.

@Bigbird – tried using my iPhone 3G. Looks better because you can zoom in and out easily and is quite faster actually. Problem though is that it not not track the route I took.

I’ve done same exercise last feb. of this year when i went to my home province in Capiz via bus/roro. equipped with BB 8820 (w/ built-in gps) im txting my long/lat to my bro and he’s keeping track of where location (specially while in the phil. sea) using google earth.. it was fun.

@jhay – it’s actually Google Maps. Not that accurate.

@Gloria – used LifeVine on a Nokia N82.

@Dagger – I have an iPhone 3G, haven’t tried it from there though since it drains the battery very fast.

@Jerome – Saw it in CyberZone, Megamall. yeah, I thought it was expensive too. I should look for that Php24k one you mentioned.

@Bigbird – will try the alternatives. This one is using Google Maps.

Don’t need to have extravagant phone just to have GPS on your mobile. You can use other killer apps like Google Mobile Maps and Mobile GMaps. They have a deep level access to SS7 connectivity. And can PIN your location realtime.

40k for an N810? That’s too much. The last one I saw was around 24k at Infomaxx at Megamall and Trinoma. Unless they jacked up the price. I could have gotten one if I had enough reason for it, but alas, I’m quite satisfied with my current gear.

As a Civil Engineer working for the government, I really find useful the applications in my N82. The GPS with sports tracker is a very helpful tool especially in preliminary route surveys and GIS applications. The camera is superb for documentation purposes.
