It’s finally been bought — the Canon EOS 350D is now officially a part of my gadget collection. (Couldn’t get pictures of it because my Ixus’ battery charger died out on me.)

Thanks to my Photo Gallery which practically earned the entire amount fund the new digital camera. Well, you can say that my Canon Ixus 30 which I bought in March last year is the big momma of the Rebel XT (i.e. katulad sa taxi — nanganganak din ang camera).
Here’s the AdSense screenshot for the Photo Gallery to those who are curious how much it costs to get the Rebel XT:

Here’s a related post I blogged before on “Adsense for Photoblogs“. I hope you could learn something from it on how to effectively monetize your photo galleries or photoblogs with Adsense. My photo gallery has been getting an average 4,500 pageviews a day recently from just 500 unique visitors.
I won’t go into the details on my Hidalgo (Quiapo) adventure yesterday afternoon and to those who knew and might comment about it, just skip it. *hehehe*

Hi Abe! Nice camera… nakaka-inspire!
How much monthly bandwidth is consumed by 500 daily visitors?
Wait, wait: you got the Sigma 17-700 f/2.8-4.5 DC Macro lens, too?!
Rain, actually it was my sigma 17-70 attached to the XT for most of the night. That and the 50mm f/1.8. It was fun shooting with Abe’s XT, nice little camera, though the grip is terribly small for my hands.
The next EB/meetup should be an informal photo session/seminar.

nakakainggit naman kayo
[...] Remember the blogger meetup I wrote about more than a week ago? As usual, I’m one of the last ones to write about it. Abe was quick to upload photos from his spankin’ new Canon EOS 350D which everyone used for most of the evening. My D60 was seated on the sidelines occassionally stealing some snaps, leaving me with three photos worthy of showcasing on this entry. [...]
congrats… welcome to the expensive world of canon. sooner or later you’ll discover that the amount of money you spend on these things will equal to a car. j/k
keep shooting!
I was looking for sample photos taken with canon eos 350d because I was thinking which slr camera to buy.
I ended up visiting this blog from a google link.
All I can say is wow. You got a pretty nice and interesting blog here.
[...] Ok, just a few months after I bought my Rebel XT (350D), Canon threw in a little upgrade to the DSLR line with an XTi. [...]
[...] Without much funfare I read the manuals and tried the sample with my Canon Rebel XT. A quick peel, some spray, a little adjustment and wiping finished it off. At first, I got it wrong and layed it horizontally against my camera’s lens partly covering some of the buttons but I was able to easily peel it off, re-apply the spray and lay it back again just perfectly. *whew* [...]
Best buy pal! Most of all, I salute you for being able to purchase such a nice camera out of your group’s savings. Keep up the good work.
By the way, is the camera lightweight or is it heavy? Other than its price, you didn’t even mention any of its features.
Regards,
John
