the big benefit is that since it’s web-based you can use it through a lot of firewalls that would otherwise block.

same features to Trillian Messenger.. the only difference is.. Trillian is not web based.

We mentioned imo.im on the Aryty blog yesterday as many Filipino’s use IM to keep in touch. The company is not affilited with Aryty or Gorilla Mobile however. It just seemed like a cool and helpful service which is why we included the company in our blog. It’s also the only one I’ve seen that allows group chats with buddies from any of your messenger list. I had a chat session with 15 ppl yesterday from 3 diffferent messengers. All after work of course.
