Just a quick survey — do you still use Technorati over Google Blog Search? Why?

US market usage reports via Techcrunch last Dec. 2006
Which of the two is better at tracking/indexing blog specific posts? I still enjoy the use of Technorati tags to track definite topical searches. It’s a really great filter. Feature-wise Technorati still rocks. I wonder if Yahoo is looking at buying it soon.

I use both Technorati and Google Blog Search.
for us using multiply technorati seems to do a better job (for now) its indexing happens in a matter of minutes AFTER a post.
I use both, but I agree with you – Technorati is much more feature-rich than Google Blog Search.
for blog search, I prefer technocrati
i use both technorati and google blogsearch, pero functions-wise Techorati rocks…
btw, im wondering, what’s with the sudden surge in google blogsearch between oct 7-21? mukhang masyadong malaki ang increase…
I use technorati… I haven’t used google or any of it’s features except for adsense sine live.com came.
You never know… Google might buy Technorati one day.
I use both and like what others have mentioned, Technorati does have more features than Google Blog Search.
I use both because there are some posts that google blog search catches but technorati doesn’t and vice versa
Google Blogsearch for it’s date feature.
Technorati for tags and blog authority.
Otherwise, seemingly identical in that both seems to overlook others blogs in searching.
I use Technorati, I only knew about Google Blog Search on Wordpress. At first look (use), Technorati seem to be more convenient and flexible to use than Google Blog search.
i use technorati… for blog search and a plus it has more features
Technorati has a search function? Really? No, seriously I know the function is there, but what use it would be to me I have no idea. Too many bloggers seem to see what other bloggers are writing about and then write the same things … self-defeating in my book.
Technorati would be a great investment for Google though, in terms of market penetartion/visibility but a lousy one in terms of technology/customer service … if I were Sergi and Brin I would just concentrate on just doing what Technorati does better and better until Technorati dies a natural death … but then again, I’m not that smart.
I’d prefer reading in my native language, because my knowledge of your languange is no so well. But it was interesting! Look for some my links:
