Hmmm… With the Exodus of people at Yahoo, they seem to be giving up on the competition and allow Google to dominate the Web. Although Google is great but without competition, where will be after a few years?

It only means one thing. Yahoo needs constant and never ending improvement. Thats why their hiring new people with more creative ideas.

Yahoo! Asia seems to be independent one way or another. They are very active in Asean alone even with all the fuss about Google-Yahoo-Microsoft, Investor vs Boards, Resignations, etc.

Dunno, just a hunch. And knowing Jojo Anonuevo (he was my former boss and learned a lot from him; and family friend), if he is staying in Yahoo, then it means they’re not much affected by Yahoo International.

Which needs to be explained to me since one of the reasons that Yahoo rejected Microsoft was because it didn’t want to be swallowed up by the “evil” Microsoft culture — and yet these techie “elites” are leaving anyway?
