This is the 3rd installation of our Western Digital giveaway and we’re giving away another one (1) Terabyte Western Digital Caviar Black SATA 3. Contest mechanics after the jump.

As the title of this entry says — dress up your PC the best way you can and get the chance to win the 1TB WD HDD. That’s basically it.

You can use your desktop PC at home, in the office or any which way you can get one (buy, beg, steal or borrow — we don’t really care).

Use this image as the wallpaper of your PC when you take the photo (download here). This will allow us to know that the photo is new and/or original.

Upload your photo to any photo sharing site (Flickr, Piclyf, Picasa, Twitpic, etc.) or post in your blog or website. The photo must be publicly accessible — not set in private, locked or anything that requires a password, friend request or login.

Leave a comment in this blog post with the URL to your photo, gallery or blog entry.

The one with the best-dressed desktop PC that we like will gets the 1TB upgrade. Contest starts today until midnight of January 31, 2011.

tama po, si sir yuga nalang bahala dun, sya naman ang mag de decide kung sino mananalo. kaya kahit anung diskarte bahala na tayo, ma literal na dress up or not.

cguro and gusto lang ng iba ay clarification ng ibig sabihin ni yuga na “dress up”. para malaman din nila yung criteria sa pag pili.

ako rin, mejo na confuse din ako, d ko alam kung anu ang basis or criteria sa pagpili ng best dress up pc… ewan ko kung yung tipong mga naka SLI or Crossfire PC na magagandang tingnan sa loob mismo ng PC mo, yung mga hardwares na mga mamahalin, or sa creativity lang talaga….

pero kahit anu man yun, try nyo nalang pagandahin ang PC nyo…. good luck… peace! :)

“Dress up your pc”? ano nakakalito doon? pa-english english ka pa, e simpleng english hindi mo naintindihan. who are you to say “invalid”? ang invalid lang dyan ay yung nag-upload ng laptop.
hay naku. dami talaga nagma-marunong. bakit kaya hindi nalang sila mag-upload ng entry nila?

Wala akong makitang confusing’ sa rules. Sa tao pag sinabing ‘get dressed’ eh magbibihis ka ng damit, magsasapatos, magmamakeup, magsusuot ng jewelries. Lahat ng gusto mong ilagay na kolorete o dekorasyon sa katawan mo eh uubra. Nasa sayo yun. Bahala ka. Depende na lang kung may dress code ang pupuntahan mong okasyon. Ganun din pag sinabing ‘dress up your car’. Lalagyan mo ng ‘skirt’, papipinturahan ng maganda. Ganun din sa contest na to. Bahala ka kung anong gusto mong ‘ibihis’ sa PC mo literal man o hindi. Bakit meron pa bang ibang definition ang ‘dress up’? Kung sakali mang dapat pala eh hindi damit ng tao ang ibihis sa PC sa mga entries eh yung may pacontest na ang bahala dun. Hindi nya papapanalunin yung hindi pumasa sa taste nya at sa criteria. Hay naku. Bakit ba merong ginagawang complikado yung simple at masayang contest. Magsend na lang kayo ng entries nyo at ng makita namin kung ano ba talaga ang tamang ‘definition’ nyo ng DRESS UP.

yung spongebob na tranformer ginawa ko lang sa mga basura mostly sa computer shop ko. mga sirang parts, hehehe creativity ika nga… mejo kulang ako ng time kaya yan lang nagawa ko, ehehe sana manalo. para may extra hard disk na ako. :P

I suggest you make the rules more specific. I see a lot of invalid entries (IMHO) and I think a lot of the contestants are confused about your term “Best Dressed Desktop PC”. or “dress up your PC the best way you can”. I didn’t think that you should literally put a dress on your PC, or am I am wrong? I was thinking it was more like pimp my pc or like creating a kick @ss, rigged out pc with the logo you wanted as a wallpaper. (just google the term pimped out pc or tricked out pc to see what I mean).

My two cents.
