Was just reading John Chow’s blog and how he got banned from Technorati and Digg.
This reminded me of a bug (I thought it was a bug) that time I was updating this Technorati Top 100 list a couple weeks back. See, some of the blogs I was checking out at Technorati are no longer showing on the results. Here’s what’s you’ll get when you type in their blog url:
The text says “There are blogs, and then there’s whatever you just typed in. If it’s a blog, we don’t know about it. Maybe you made a typo. Or maybe it’s a blog that doesn’t exist. Maybe you don’t exist. (In which case, please ignore this.)“
I don’t know if i’m banned, but Technorati does not ping me! anyone know why? I haven’t received a ping in 30 days
I think in a way it is…
I still get my ranking but…
I can’t find my site when I do a Technorati search for “Philippines”
What should I do?
I did join 2000 bloggers, and I think I was banned. Sent an appeal just now.
could it be a browser issue?
My Election blog (www.halalan-2007.blogspot.com ) is not appearing in Technorati. During my first three post it appears but after that my Tag – Philippine Election 2007 does not appear. I don’t know why. I tried to email them but no response.
Somebody (forgot who) also theorizes that a lot of people who participated in the 2000 bloggers project got banned.
My blog (www.batangbaler.net) does not appear on technorati. It was a problem i noticed when trying to get a BlogParteeh07 invite. I claimed it when i first signed-in to Technorati. After a month i unclaimed it. Now i can’t claim it again. There’s an error message that appears everytime i try to claim it. I tried claiming my other blog and it worked fine. I even tried emailing them and all i got was a reply that they got the email. So when i try searching for the blog on Technorati i get that familiar message. Maybe i don’t exist. Oh well..
