And we though the current line-up of Galaxy Tabs from Samsung is already all we needed to complete the family. Turns out Samsung is not yet done and has just announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 will actually be the cheapest of all the 7-inch tablets, cheaper than the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 specs:
7-inch PLS LCD display @ 1024×600 pixels
1GHz dual-core processor
1GB RAM
8GB, 16GB and 32GB internal storage
HSPA+ 21Mbps
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth 3.0
GPS w/ aGPS support
Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich

This makes the 7-inch Galaxy Tab the most populated form factor in Samsung’s tablet offering. The Galaxy Tab 2 will be offered in WiFi-only and WiFi+3G options starting at around $450 and coming out this March.

Perhaps its a fresh start to ics ran galaxy tabs. Expect them to release ics tabs with higher specs in the near future

@jdGONEMAD – yup, samsung galaxy tabs are capable of making calls like ordinary cellphones; pwede sya lagyan ng sim card :)

expected that with “less price comes less features” haha :D nawala yung LED flash ng camera dito sa SGT 2 :)

When you put a “2” in a device, it should mean a faster, high-performing machine than the predecessor right? This is pointless. It’s even 200MHz slower than 7Plus.
