LG G2 launching in the Philippines on Sept.25

We recently received an invite to the local launching of the LG G2 slated on September 25, 2013.

The LG G2 was globally announced only last August 8, 2013. This makes it the shortest gap between a global announcement to a local release for LG ever.

LG G2 specs:
5.2-inch 1080 x 1920 Tru-HD IPS+ LCD display, 424ppi
Corning Gorilla Glass 3
2.3GHz quad-core MSM8974 Snapdragon 800
Adreno 330 GPU
2GB RAM
32GB internal memory
WiFi a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA
Bluetooth 4.0 A2DP
GPS w/ aGPS support
NFC
HSPA+, 4G LTE 100Mbps
13 megapixel camera with LED flash, OIS
Full HD 1080p video recording @ 60fps
2.1Mp w/ front-facing camera
Android 4.2.2 Jellybean
Li-Ion 3,000mAh battery
143g (weight)
138.5 x 70.9 x 8.9 mm (dimensions)

We’ve been told that the LG G2 will be compatible to local LTE networks of Globe and Smart.

We still don’t have any details on the Philippine price but we’re getting hints that it could replace the SRP of the G Pro and be released that very same week.

size wise, g2 is only 2mm wider, 2mm thicker, 6.5mm taller than optimus g. but the increase in screen space is huge, from 4.7in to 5.2in.

    gonna sell this optimusg soon

mas pipiliin ko to kaysa sa note 3 kung bibili ako ng phablet, kasi para sakin sobrang laki na ng screen size(meaning mas malaki din ang dimension)….4.5 inch screen is already enough for me =)

You’ll have to omit the Optimus in the post title. No such device as LG Optimus G2.

This is the follow-up to the LG Optimus G… so it’s only natural to call it the LG Optimus G2.
