Nokia to unveil EOS on July 11, zoom reinvention

After a wave of leaks and rumors, Nokia finally sends out invitations to their next event, where it is very likely that it is for their 41 megapixel PureView Lumia – the EOS.

The Nokia EOS is expected to pack a bunch of camera features such as a xenon flash, a mechanical shutter, optical image stabilization, pixel oversampling, loseless zoom and great low-light performance. Here are all the details on the sensor, and here are the leaks if you missed it.

The event will take place on July 11 at New York City, 11AM – which translates to 11PM in the Philippines. We’ll keep you posted, so stay tuned.

      You can download Instance, full fledge intagram client, plus the layout is so much better than Instagram

    No.. This isn’t Nokia’s response to Samsung’s Zoom.. they’ve been planning on this since Pureview 808 was released. And Samsung’s zoom is no way better than symbian’s 808.

    This is not Nokia’s response to Samsung’s Zoom. The Samsung Zoom is actually Samsung’s attempt to beat the 808 PureView but sadly it’s a big fat ugly digicam-looking camera with a very small sensor size. And don’t get me started with that zooming lens mechanism. It’s a middle-aged man’s definition of cool.
