For the longest time now, I’ve been meaning to do some sort of a huge gathering by bloggers for bloggers, kinda blogcon of sorts. I opened up the idea after the last Blog Summit in April. Jayvee has been very active in looking out for sponsors for this and I’ve actually talked to several potential partners that could help solve the logistics problem.
We’re lucky to have found a willing sponsor and Jayvee’s asking for suggestions for the name of the event. I’d like to call it the Philippine BlogCon “Meet the Bloggers” hoping to sway the voting to that side of the poll. *heh*
Nothing formal with this event — just a huge gathering of bloggers, meeting faces behind the blogs and some great music, good food and drinks (free!).
Happening this October in Makati, we’re hoping to get around 50 or so bloggers for a meet and greet.
If you didn’t like my suggested title for the event, go and tell Jayvee.
WELLL… Kiven was suggesting “Pinoy Big Blogger”… I think I’ll stick with the BlogCon one hehehehe

Blogcon is a great name. It’s overused, but who cares.
