The event will be held on 6 November 2008, three o’clock in the afternoon at The Conservatory, The Peninsula Manila, Makati City.
IPSTAR is the largest commercial broadband satellite in the world today and is owned by THAICOM PUBLIC COMPANY LIMITED of Thailand. WIT is the service provider and Gateway operator in the Philippines.
The launching ceremony, an exclusive commercial introduction to the IPSTAR retail broadband Internet service, will include live demonstrations of various IPSTAR solutions, and a question and answer session relating to IPSTAR and its future plans for the Philippine market.
