The 2008 Philippine ESRI GIS User Conference, hosted by The Geodata Solutions, which is held annually, is a two-day event, from October 8 – 9, 2008 at the Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila, Quezon City Philippines. Personalities and employees from the different local government offices nationwide attended the said event as well as engineers and architects. The event focused on the benefits and effects of Geographic Information System (GIS) to a business. It also launched the new ArcGIS server, a complete and integrated server GIS, ArcGIS 9.3 that claims to improve the entire GIS workflow to improve spatial information management, meaningful and attractive map creation, mobility, information dissemination, and planning and analysis – all within a standards-complaint environment; and the ArcGIS Extensions for an expanded productivity and enhanced analysis with specialized GIS tools. Interesting tools were also showcased for global satellite imagery such as Image Connect, Image Builder, Photo Mapper and Image Atlas, all from Digital Globe.

AMTI also conducted exciting raffle to spice – up the event. Over-all, entire event was a success.
