Have been having no luck trying to find (in the Philippines) a remote control for Windows Media Center, the Microsoft MCE Remote (part number A90-00007). You can see if here if you don't know what I'm talking about: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16880100851

I want this particular model as it comes with a couple IR Emitter/Blasters (which I need to control my cable box). I called Microsoft Phillipines and explained my dilemma, asking if they could provide me with Philippine distributors that carry this product and they gave me a list of several suppliers. I tried contacting all of them with no luck. Brutal! I don't speak Tagalog, but when I called the following distributors to find out which shops any of them dealt with (so I could go to a retail shop to order this product) I either got sent to someone's voicemail , left on hold, or they would just hang up on me. I left messages, gave email & phone contacts and nobody ever got back to me. Except for one woman from Accent-Micro who sent me the classic text "No stock". Uhhh, you're a tier 1 distributor and you don't know how to order from Microsoft? Gaah!

This is the list of Philippine distributors given to me by Microsoft that are supposed to carry the a90-00007:

Accent-Micro - no stock (the only one out've the bunch that bothered to reply to me)
Columbia Technologies - useless
Creative Technologies - useless
Citilink Systems - useless
Microbase - useless
MIcrogold - someone called "Jerry" actually took an order from me and then never contacted me again. Tried to contact him a couple more times but he was always "out of the office".

Does anyone know where I could source this remote locally? Thanks in advance for any and all info.

PS If your advice is "get someone in the US to just mail it to me" I am already aware of that option.
