Are you an App Whore?

Before the time of the iPhone and Android smartphones, I would have not imagined people would be gungho with buying and downloading apps to their mobile phones.

Before I got the iPhone 3G two years ago, the only mobile app I bought was for a Palm Zire 71 back in 2004.

Today, buying and downloading apps is so common some people make it part of their daily routine. Add to the fact that a paid app could cost just $0.99. I’d like to refer to them as app-whores.

So, anyone out there willing to admit they’re addicted to buying and downloading apps? How much have you spent on apps already?

I used to be an app whore when I was using an Iphone. Even spent $20+ for a management game, and that’s aside from my tv series, movie and music purchases! It took me a year to get over being legit as I feel robbed as time passed. So I went back to my old habit, haha! You know what they say, best things in life are free!

i love apps :) i have a budget of $0.99 a month, so one app per month, sometimes i buy the expensive ones like plants vs zombies or angry birds. i have around 100 games, and counting free and paid. paid probably 10-20%?

i visit the app store almost every other day to check what apps are offered for free that are really paid but ‘free for the day’

reason why i don’t jail break: so i can get updates easily/legally. plus $0.99 is just P45, give up I dunno, one order of soft drinks in can in a resto for a month or something, that’s how i ‘justify’ it. i just have to give up something :)

i convinced a lot of my friends to download plants vs zombies even if it’s $2.99, by comparing it to a Starbucks drink, give up a cup of your coffee/frap, just one cup so you can enjoy the game.
