It took a long while, several other 3rd-party apps and an iPad App Developer quitting Facebook last month — Facebook has finally released their iPad App on the iTunes Store.
The new Facebook App incorporates both the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad in a single download. The iTunes Store lists it as being updated last October 10, 2011 with a 10.5MB file size.
It’s got most of the features of Facebook including access to Facebook Games and Nearby Maps. I like that I am able to access and manage the YugaTech FB Fanpage thru here.
To download, just search for “Facebook” or “Facebook Inc.” on the iTunes App Store. It’s also on the top of the list under the New tab in iTunes.
