Flocking Flock more often

I’m finding myself using Flock more often alognside Firefox. Sometimes, I just feel that Firefox is too bloated and have been crashing more often. (Not that Flock is crashing almost as often.)

I guess the difference here is that I’ve got about a dozen or so extensions install on Firefox. The Session Manager seems to be the culprit. Viewing PDFs could most likely freeze the browser as well.

Anyway, Flock Beta 1 was just released and Paul Stamatiu did a comprehensive review of the latest release here.

Their site was also revamped headed by Barry Bell and Filipino-American designer Bryan Veloso. Bryan shares the full the story here.

This after a fresh funding of around $10 Million according to TechCrunch.

I’m starting to really like Flock’s RSS Reader. It’s also nice that each tab has its own close button. The Favorites toolbar seems to be a little buggy. Not much extensions yet though.
