Mozilla Firefox 19 now out, PDF viewer in tow

Mozilla has recently released the latest version of their web browser, the Firefox 19. And while the new release doesn’t have too many new things to offer for its users, Mozilla’s upgraded browser is equipped with an HTML5-based PDF viewer right out of the gate.

The said feature was first introduced in the beta version of Firefox 18 and was expected to be released along with the final build. However, Mozilla decided to not include it on the previous release (not sure why) and pushed it to this version.

Apart from the addition of built-in PDF viewer, Mozilla also addressed some of the bugs (three to be exact) that were spotted on the previous version of the browser, two of which are causing the browser to malfunction during launch. The full run down of changelog can be found here.

Along with the upgrades that Mozilla have done on the desktop browser, they also made some changes on its Android counterpart. The new Firefox 19 for Android now has theme support which allows users to alter the browser’s looks. Moreover, it now has support for Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese localizations. They’ve also fixed a pair of bugs in these latest build.

But the most significant upgrade that this new version has is Mozilla’s decision to lower down the minimum requirements (600MHz, 512MB, HVGA resolution) in order for users to use the browser on their mobile device. Other changes can be found here.

Firefox users should be automatically notified about this update. Now for those of you who want to try out the Firefox 19 on your PC, you can download the installer here. As for the Firefox 19 for Android, you can download the app here.

Hassle ung pagsave ng pdf file and daming pasikot sikot, di gaya ng mga older version. Wala na sa screen mismo ung save button, may mga ga2win kpa pra maayos. At ung pdf file plagi na new window pra ma-save mu sya..

Now I must say, Windows Phone is really falling behind when it comes to apps. I don’t have much choice when it comes to browser. The only available one is UC browser which I don’t like much.
