Photosynth for Windows Phone 7 now out

Listen to article

App availability has always been one of the main concerns with Windows Phone OS. Although still miles away from iOS and Android app count, we’ve seen a steady increase in apps in Marketplace these past few months.

The good thing though is that most commonly sought after apps are starting to emerge in the Marketplace. Another great addition to the growing number of apps is Microsoft’s very own camera app: Photosynth.

Photo aficionado will definitely enjoy the Microsoft Photosynth as it takes capturing pictures using your WP device to a whole new level. The app is easy to navigate and is equipped with a handful of tools to aid users for better image processing.

You can also share your pictures on FB and Twitter. Images taken can also be synced to your computer and enhance it through Photosynth desktop application.

This app is available for download in Marketplace as well as in AppStore for free. For more information you can visit their website at http://photosynth.net/about.aspx.

I wonder if, with the impending launch of Win8, there will be backward-compatibility with WinPhone apps like this while still maintaining compatibility with Winx86 standard apps.
