App in Focus: Roccat Power Grid

Roccat has a very interesting app that they recently released called the Roccat Power Grid. It’s a nifty tool to monitor and control your desktop via an iPhone or Android app.

My new gaming rig has 16GB of RAM, 256GB SSD, GTX 680 GPU.

The idea is pretty simple yet novel — download and install the software on your Windows PC, download the app on your smartphone from iTunes or Google Play.

Once the PC and your smarpthone is connected on the same WiFi network, you can connect the app to your PC and start monitoring CPU, RAM, storage, network stats, etc.

You can also use the general volume or even volume of specific applications — say, for example, you are playing DotA 2 and the background sound of music player or messenger is louder than you want them, you can use the app and dial them down individually.

Here’s a video to show how that works.

The Power Grid can also be customized to show your own widgets, controls and monitors.

Try the Roccat Power grid here.

While it may be fun to shoot and edit videos of your business signs, it’s
even more fun when you can get your customers involved.
I’ve learned from experience is that the listener memorize and get hooked
on your song by hearing a simple melody being repeated many times.
The idea in order to buy active instagram followers is a thing
that you can discuss with your friends.

I think people should stop creating / formulating solutions to problems that don’t exist

Really? then lets stop creating mobile phones since we can talk face to face.

Oh, lets stop making spoon and forks since we can use our hands.

The app is not meant to be a solution to a problem that dont exist but giving convenience to people that needs them.

If you dont care about monitoring your system usage and stats then dont use it. some people need these apps/information to fine tune their system.

first of all, did I say that I DON’T like monitoring my usage system and stats? OMG what a judgmental insolent person. I do even have a 50mb rainmeter running in my desktop now just to show my systems stats and performance, usage, temp, et al. What I’m trying to say is maybe they should focus more on developing / producing / offering REAL innovations to people. This project will only solve “problems” of a small group of people.

and as for “then lets stop creating mobile phones since we can talk face to face.
Oh, lets stop making spoon and forks since we can use our hands.”

      CAPITAL WTF?!

just when did communications didn’t become a problem? we can talk face to face??? really? how about OFWs? so should they come back here just to ask how their relatives are? CAUSE THEY CAN JUST TALK FACE TO FACE? plus the spoon and fork? I don’t know if you’re plain stupid or just really stupid. I believe you are an educated person, SO ACT LIKE ONE dumbass!

      Hey Dumbass,

“What I’m trying to say is maybe they should focus more on developing / producing / offering REAL innovations to people. This project will only solve “problems” of a small group of people. ”

So you mean that no one should give a fuck to a small number of people who are actually gives a fuck to these kinds of stuff?

so again, lets stop making gaming peripherals since its a small percentage of people are using these products.

These stuff are not targeting you so don’t go saying that they should stop making these just because you are not involved in the minority.

not sure if you’re the original d. bag or just a follower which actually is a d.bag too. Nice grammar thou ;)

comparing the target market of this project to gamers? OMFG your IQ is really below sea level. It is now deep beneath the pacific hitting trenches and exploring the underworld. do you play LOL? DOTA 2? HON? MW3 multiplayer – online? have you seen the number of people playing those games? WHICH YOU CALLED SMALL NUMBER OF PEOPLE? in garena SEA (South East Asia) only there are about 2million plus players. Imagine in NA – north america, europe, et al. ALSO THE FAMOUS GTA 5? have you seen how many people bought that game? with just pre-orders only it already hit breakeven point which is 250 million US FUCKING DOLLARS. there is no available gta 5 version for pc so all of them either have ps3 / nintendo / xbox in which are all gaming consoles. no? dumbass? you? yes!
