Responsibilities:

* The Senior Reporting Developer is responsible for development and support of existing reporting systems as well as development of a new reporting platform. This individual must demonstrate competencies in OLAP structure development and complex TSQL development. Additionally, candidates must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and in a team environment. This position requires the individual to be a self-starter with the ability to balance support and development responsibilities seamlessly and still manage deliverables to deadlines.
* Translate requirements, source mapping documents, and models into solutions
* Design, Develop, Test, Optimize and Deploy stored procedures and related functions
* Develop SSRS reports and SSAS OLAP cubes based on business requirements
* Highly organized individual with excellent decision making, analytical, problem solving and presentation skills
* Create logical and innovative solutions to complex problems
* Ensure that deadlines are met including planning and working flexibly for accommodation of multiple deliverables

Requirements:

* Demonstrated experience building cubes and reports that take advantage of OLAP/Dimensional Modeling capabilities
* Strong T-SQL and Stored Procedure coding abilities, familiarity with a .NET programming language extremely desirable
* Strong team working skills, an analytical nature, life-long learning and excellent written and oral communications skills are requirements for this position
* Strong foundation and understanding of Dimensional Modeling and OLAP
* Ability to troubleshoot technical problems and research possible solutions
* Experience with data analysis and data modeling
* Experienced in developing reports and automating data gathering
* Knowledge of relational and multi-dimensional database concepts required
* Experience with SQL Server, OLAP, Visual Studio, and reporting services required
* Exceptional detail and organization skills
* Expertise building cubes, programming complex SQL queries, and stored procedures
* Advanced understanding and experience with DTS, MDX, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS
