Responsibilities:
The role of the Web Developer is to develop and deliver excellent web services to the client in line with agreed service levels. A key component of this role is to build innovative websites and micro sites to assist clients in the attraction of talent for their business. The Consultant (Web Development) is also responsible for working with the creative and production teams in the creation of online advertising products such as rich media banners, social media applications and the maintenance of the AMS corporate websites and intranet.

In this position you will be the technical expert and will be responsible for keeping the creative and production teams up to date with the latest advancements in technologies.
Responsible for following the end-to-end AMS recruitment process, including:

* Develop websites / micro sites as per client brief and as guided by the Head of Traffic/Production.
* Maintenance of key AMS sites and AMS corporate website
* Ensure that updates on latest technologies and advancements are knowledge shared, and documented.
* Interpreting build plans, site maps, wireframes, and where required producing site documentation and also develop innovative attraction ideas.
* Look at best practice in content management systems and advise the Resourcing Communications team on preferred options to answer a client’s requirements
* Ensure SLAs are delivered against and proactively raise concerns around target achievement escalating these to the Client Services Manager
* Identifying areas of process improvement, service enhancement, related strategic projects and opportunities to improve sites.
* Keeping abreast of market intelligence and industry trends (e.g. new technology, web standards, social networking)

Requirements:

Essential skills

* Technical knowledge of PHP & .NET
* Flash/Actionscript 3.0
* Database languages such as – MySQL
* Content Management Systems (CMS) /Blog frameworks – Opensource (WordPress/Drupal/Joomla/Modx)
* Strong technical understanding of web development best practice tools and methodologies.
* Enterprise CMS understanding
* Initiates and encourages a positive attitude towards change and innovation
* At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in Arts/Creative/Graphics Design or equivalent.
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.
* Full-Time positions available.
