Remote Desktop Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES:

* This position is for a remote technical server/desktop support Manager and Engineers capable of supporting multiple Windows environments including Server 2000/2003, Windows XP and Active Directory within Retail Financial Services. Responsibilities include: Hardware/software problem determination, consultation, configuration, installation, MACD requests (move, add, change, delete), PW resets, consultation requests, rights correction issues, hardware/software rollouts, and problem resolution ownership. Qualifying candidates must possess the ability to provide quality customer service via telephone, email, instant message, and trouble tickets in a fast paced environment as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks at once while delivering results. Candidate must also have good verbal and written communication skills able to interact with LOB customers, team members and internal support teams. Strong documentation and analytical skills are required. This position will require discretion and independent thinking on a daily basis. Primary working hours will be 9 PM 6 AM or 12am to 9am US Eastern Time Monday – Friday but work hour flexibility and overtime will be required to meet production support needs. Participation in rotating on-call duties providing 24/7 support is also required.

REQUIREMENTS:

* Minimum 3 years of experience supporting a Microsoft environment is essential. Knowledge of HP/Dell workstation and server hardware. A+ and Microsoft certification are required. Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN connectivity and associated network protocols. Individual must be able to work independently as well as with team members and be able to make decisions with limited management oversight
* Minimum 3 years of experience providing remote support.
* Working knowledge of the consumer banking industry and best practices – Must be results & detail oriented
