Lead Software Engineer
( Makati City)

* • Interacts with the Business Analysts and Software Development manager to acquire business requirements and directions in software development
* • Reviews and analyzes program specifications and creates technical documentation
* • Reviews coding and documentation done by the software engineers
* • Designs, develops, tests, and maintains internal PeopleSupport applications
* • Accomplishes all required program coding and documentation within the defined timelines
* • Ensures that all systems developed are tested prior to migration to the production environment
* • Responsible for deploying newly developed systems into production
* • Evaluates, recommends and implements new systems development tools and methodology based on the requirements of PeopleSupport and its clients
* • Adheres to all software development standards and processes
* • Mentors and manage software engineers

REQUIREMENTS:

* Experience:
* • 4+ years experience in analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance of software applications on the Microsoft platform progressing from an individual contributor to a technical team leader.
* • Expertise with C#, VB.NET, COM, COM+, MTS, SQL Server, ASP and ASP.NET
* • Experience in developing N-tier and distributed application
* • Experience in creating application models using Unified Modeling Language (UML)
* • Full life cycle software development experience

* Knowledge:
* • Windows NT / 2000 / XP / 2003 Desktop Operating System and tools
* • Working knowledge in Internet Information Server
* • Working knowledge in .NET Framework
* • Understanding of the Internet and Internet-based tools
* • Understanding of programming languages and database management systems, including relational database design and normalization techniques
* • Software Development methodology

* Skills:
* • Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
* • Demonstrated programming skills on VB.NET/C#, SQL, ASP/ASP.NET and the latest programming languages and tools
* • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management
* • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
* • Ability to learn about new system and equipments quickly
* • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and produce
* • Ability to multi-task, adapt to change and achieve results with accuracy and precision
* • Demonstrates project management skills
* • Demonstrates leadership and mentoring skills

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology, Others or equivalent.
* At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
* Applicants must be willing to work in Makati City.
* Preferably supervisor / 5 yrs & up experienced employees specializing in IT/Computer – Software or equivalent.
