Software Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES::

• The Software Architect is a mid-level position within the NetSuite Software Development team.
• This position works with NetSuite Product Managers and NetSuite Platform development team to deliver successful solutions built on top of the NetSuite platform.
• This role will work to implement requirements defined by NetSuite Product Management with a combination of system architecture and programming skills.
• Some of the responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): Designing solutions, creating prototypes, writing and testing scripts, and deploying the solutions.
• NetSuite’s platform uses a combination of client-side and server-side Object Oriented scripting language. Java, PHP or .NET (C#) may also be involved in certain solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology, Mathematics or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience on PHP or Java or .NET (C#) platform assuming roles on systems architecture, technical design and delivery.
• Skilled in integration approaches and strategies, preferably someone who has done work involving web services (XML, SOAP, WSDL), messaging.
• Very good understanding and has worked with client-side technologies like HTML, JavaScript, or Ajax and also backend technologies like SQL.
• Experience in developing business related applications i.e. financial/ accounting systems; procurement/ supply chain management; HRIS; CRM; eCommerce, etc.
• Familiarity with Cloud computing technologies preferred.
• Ability to translate user requirements into technical solutions, resolve escalated development/troubleshooting issues, and get the final delivery done according to time constraints.
• Ability to quickly master new technologies.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Makati City.
