Responsibilities:

* Provides end to end support to clients and trading partners from; issue identification, mapping functions and troubleshooting errors on transmissions within an acceptable timeframe agreed upon with the client/trading partners.
* Monitors and ensures successful Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transaction flow within the “Enterprise”.
* Collaborates with client personnel and other members of the team/organization in resolving mapping and/or transmission issues.
* Generates and ensures on-time submission of identified transaction reports to management. Escalates high level risks or issues promptly.
* Provides support to all Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) projects assigned.

Requirements:

* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
* 3+ years work experience in providing customer/end-user or helpdesk technical support in IT/Support/BPO/Call Centers servicing various Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) customers.
* Knowledgeable in GXS’s software “Enterprise”, Application Integrator (AI) and communication protocols; FTP, FTP/s, SFTP, HTTPS, VAN, AS2.
* Knowledgeable in Sterling Commerce Gentran is a plus.
* Knowledgeable in LINUX/UNIX scripting skills.
* Expert knowledge in Microsoft Windows operating system technologies including installation, configuration, troubleshooting and client-server relationships.
* Background in LINUX environment is a plus.
* Expert knowledge in gateway applications, such as firewalls, VPN, and routers including installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting.
* Willing to work on US hours and can work with minimal supervision.
* Must possess high sense of urgency and responsibility.
* Desired Traits: Good English Communication skills, can easily grasp high technical knowledge, attentive to details, and a genuine team player.
