Global Benefits Representative
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Provides support to customers regarding benefits information, handling offline and customer service calls associated with benefits.
-Checks mail, voicemail and email to provide customer assistance on benefits issues.
-Processes court orders and sends out verification letters to Site HR Managers.
-Advices customers if benefit selection are not valid and offer customer of valid selections.
-Update and maintain HRIS benefit system.
-Sends benefits information and forms to customers and refer them to appropriate information channel and vendor contacts to provide further assistance.
Position Purpose:
-The Benefits-Customer Service Representative will be responsible to provide benefits administration and information to its stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Candidates must be at least second year College level.
-Must have at least one year Customer Service experience in a Call Center environment.
-Must have experience handling local / global benefits administration; United States / Canadian benefits administration an advantage.
-Knowledge with ERISA and Canadian employment legislation an advantage..
-Strong command in English both oral and written.
-Strong proficiency in Internet, Email and MS Office application. Knowledge with Lawson Software system an advantage.
-Able to prioritize in a fast paced environment, adjust to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
-Must be detail-oriented and ability to understand complex procedure manuals.
-Willing to work on graveyard, shifting schedule, weekends and holidays.
