Internet Explorer, the world’s most popular browser to download another browser, gets an anime-inspired treatment for its new ad.
The “Internet Explorer 11: The Anime” story follows Inori Aizawa, a cute personification of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer, as she tries to escape a bunch of killer robots in a post-apocalyptic city. Watch the video below:
I have to admit, Inori is cute, the animation is cool, and the story is worth watching, but I don’t think i’ll be letting go of Google Chrome anytime soon.

Internet explorer 5.0 – 6.x = the most malware/spyware friendly browser ever !
Are you still stuck on 2001, bastard?!
I disagree with the post, i already let go off Chrome. IE11>Chrome
Agree.
UI wise, Chrome is better (and faster). But IE is way way way more secured compared to FF and Chrome.
Nanami Madobe @ 0:08! Just had to say. :)
“Internet Explorer, the world’s most popular browser to download another browser, gets an anime-inspired treatment for its new ad.” – very well said.
Sorry but this stupid joke gets old.
I dare you to find a touch-based browser in Windows 8 that’s better than Internet Explorer!
yup i agree. shows ignorance.
have u tried IE 10? I bet not, IE 10 on windows 7, win8, and IE 11 in win8.1 is fast and fluid. Try it yourself, I did, I am using firefox ( frequently crashes) and chrome. But after trying newer versions of IE, I stopped using those firefox and chrome.
If you watched this for the “story”, you’re watching the wrong video. There’s no “story” in this advertisement…just brilliant character design and animation!
Props to the studio who made this ad!
Then how do you make this animation without a Story? Kazuki just google storyboard? ok?!!
@No story?
Story =/= Storyboard
A storyboard is a graphical draft/representation of what the final animation will look like.

Obviously, you’re one of those folks who don’t have a clear idea on how animation works, sadly.
@no story?
basahin muna kasi yung definition ng isang term bago mag-post dito…pahiya ka ngayon tuloy
Sadly, the number of idiotic folks here in yugatech are increasing.
I congratulate @no story? for joining those bunch of folks here.
/sarcasm
@No story?
Pardon me for adding up all the shame you’re feeling right now…I’ll tell you why there’s no story in the above animation. Here are the reasons:
1. What’s Inori Aizawa (the IE Mascot) doing there?!
2. Why is she being chased by those enemy drones (or whatever they are)?!
3. How in the blue hell did Inori Aizawa transform to her “real form”?!
Man, better put your brain into good use next time, okay?
This is the plot ” she tries to escape a bunch of killer robots in a post-apocalyptic city.” But I wouldn’t consider this as a story. Just an amazing animation for the IE ad.hehe :D
