5 Highest-Performing Smartphone Processors

No matter how fancy or feature-packed a smartphone is, it would all be laid to waste when the processor isn’t as capable as what is being required of it. This is why a phone’s CPU is an important consideration when it comes to choosing your next phone. In this article we list down five of the highest-performing smartphone processors.

The entries listed below are ranked according to their benchmark scores using AnTuTu‘s tests. Their scores are arranged in ascending order.

5. Qualcomm Snapdragon 805

  • 64-bit octa-core processor
  • Upcoming CPU for smartphones
  • First mobile chip to provide a teraflop of processing power
  • Benchmark score on AnTuTu – 74,977

As you could see, the Tegra X1 with its almost 75K benchmark score tops the list. Both the Tegra X1 and MediaTek’s Helio x20 are still on their way to mobile devices, so we could soon expect ground-breaking performances from upcoming devices sporting these chips.

Next to those, we have the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and its Exynos 7420 CPU that are currently the top smartphone contenders on AnTuTu’s listing.

So there you have it. When talking about processing prowess, these are the names that hold the title for the highest scores on benchmarking app AnTuTu.

kahit mga bagong mediatek sablay either sa battery or heat or both.

like i said pwede lang sya sa low end pero di pwede makipag sabayan with the rest on this list.

Pabilis ng pabilis ang mga processor, kamusta naman ang battery consumption? Hangang ngayon wala pa rin tumatagal pag heavy use.

Mediatek? baka mga old model ng mediatek ung na epxerience mo, since 2014 and 2015, from mtk 6595 ng mx4 up to the current 64 bit cpu like 6752, e2 na ung best nila kumpara sa qualcom counterpart. As you know sablay ang qualcomm this year. Unless you do not want to know about this.

lahat ng kilala ko na naka mediatek hindi satisfied sa performance or battery consumption. kahit yung ac router ko na mediatek based sablay.

parati lang maganda sa paper pero bitin sa actual.

its ok for low end products pero i wouldnt consider it in the category listed here.

pag may napatunayan na sila sige. pero until then… meh.

Between the Helio X20 and Tegra X1, the Helio could have an upper advantage in terms of overall effeciency. This would include performance, task management and temperature management. But since there’s no review yet for the X1 maybe we can determine the best once it officially comes out.

Of course tegra X1 ang no.1, but tegra k1 should be on the list as well, lalo yung nasa Nexus 9

I’m a Nexus 9 owner, and to be honest, I’m not impressed with its performance. Mabagal sya in starting apps, tends to heat up and lag is very noticeable when a lot of apps are opened. Mas happy ako with my old Nexus 7 2013 (which I still have).

the processor I mean yung Denver, I believe tingin ko ang pagbagal niya ay dahil sa surface ng N9 which from a review from another site that I have read, it has lags, mas okay siya kung nilagay sa surface tulad ng sa shield tablet

Dapat madaliin ng Mediatek ang paggawa ng US band LTE chips. They could strike a huge blow to Snaplizard.
