7 smartphones with at least 4,000mAh batteries

Almost a year ago we brought you a list of seven smartphones with huge battery capacities that pack at least 3,000mAh worth of juice. We’re now updating that list and bumping up the standards to at least 4,000mAh. Take a look at our new list of seven smartphones with large capacity batteries.

CloudFone Thrill 400qx_2

Yugatech 728x90 Reno7 Series

Lenovo S860

One of Lenovo’s latest offering is the S860 that packs a 5.3-inch HD display, MT quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM and dual-SIM capabilities. It has a 4,000mAh battery which is a good starter for our list.

Lenovo P780

Another one from Lenovo that sports a 5-inch display, quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, and dual-SIM capabilities is the P780. It’s the successor to the 3,500mAh-packing P770 but now with a 4,000mAh battery like the S860. It is also an older device which arrived locally in August of last year.

Cherry Mobile Fuze

CM Fuze

CM’s first to sport a huge battery is the Fuze. It packs a 5-inch display with Dragontrail glass, MT quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM and it’s dual-SIM capable as well. It’s main feature is its 4,000mAh battery that can be used to charge other devices.

Huawei Ascend Mate 2 LTE

ascend-mate2-lte

Its predecessor, the Ascend Mate, made it to our first list last year because of its 4,050mAh battery. The new Ascend Mate 2 LTE replaces it with slightly upgraded internals and updated OS. The sad news is Huawei didn’t increase the battery one bit and sports the same capacity as its predecessor. Still, it’s one of the largest we’ve seen for a smartphone of this size.

Gionee M2

Gionee, a smartphone brand that has entered the local scene just last year, also has a power-packed offering in the form of the M2. The Gionee M2 sports a 5-inch display, a quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, and dual-SIM capabilities. A pretty modest handset but its 4,200mAh battery isn’t something to scoff at.

CloudFone Thrill 400qx

CloudFone’s entry-level 400qx takes a different approach when it comes to providing huge battery life. Instead of packing a single slab of battery under the hood, it comes with two removable batteries in its package – a 3,000mAh + 1,450mAh. All in all you’ll get 4,450mAh worth of power which is not bad at all.

CloudFone Thrill 530qx

CloudFone topped our list last year with the 4,160mAh-packing Thrill 430x. But it’s time to pass the crown now to the Thrill 530qx. It’s a 5.3-inch smartphone that sports an MTK quad-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, dual-SIM capabilities. The best part is its massive power tank amounting to 4,500mAh.

    Hiya all

Battery size does matter. When you have to spend the day moving about and your phone dies out by 1pm, then you will understand why a large battery pack, that can take you till the night when you can put it on charge again, matters so much.

Those phones with so much of high specs but useless batteries. What is the use of it all if the battery can not allow you to use it freely????

    Thanks

    Its NOT always about NUMBERS!
Its depende rin yan sa pag OPTIMIZE ng Manufacturer.

    Kahit pareho ang battery capacity

    LG G2 beats Xperia Z1 !

All terrible phones, which probably use a lot of battery due to the bad mediatek chips

Depends on your needs. Give one of these to your granma / granpa and it’ll mean the world to them.

@Meh – I disagree. Been using the P780 for 3 months now and I’ve never been more satisfied. I surf the net and even play games/watch videos most of the time and I never worry if my phone would last one whole day without charging. The camera’s performance is a bonus as well. I believe once you go long-lasting, the smartphone experience will never be the same. :)

      Ignoramus ka naman @meh

Mediatek chips are known for their power efficiency, yun nga lang these phones doesn’t offer any added bonus apart from the gargantuan battery

For the price of a P780, you can essentially buy TWO phones with the same SoC in it…Ganun ka-overpriced ‘ton phone na ‘to…

      @Phillip
Naloko ka ng Levovo dude lol
