After adding that WP Mobile plugin on my blog several months ago, I was curious if there were really visitors coming in to my blog using their mobile device. If my referral logs gave any indication, it’s possible that those coming from wap.google.com are searching the net using their mobile device and landed on my blog.
The problem though is that I can’t really figure out how many visitors are coming in and viewing the mobile version, much more importantly that it’s now also listed on the myGlobe Portal.
I remember that the WP Mobile plugin had an option where you can include an AdMob account to display ads optimized for mobile devices. So I signed up with adMob and used it. Here’s what I discovered:
The stats generated are from the tracking ad code I placed just a couple of hours ago. I wasn’t actually after the additional ad placements but the access stats. And sure enough, there I saw the numbers are actually coming in. If you’re running WP Mobile, you should check it out too.
Hi Yuga and fellow readers!
Since Yuga posted this mobile plug in, I would like to ask if some could help me out on which mobile device (pda, cellphone, or whatever) is the best for web browsing, word editing, and some office function when traveling or when I am on the road.
Any input is appreciated.
Thanks!
Yeah Nice idea I’ve tried to open my blog using my phone but the page is too large to open okay I will try to open this site later
