Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ comes with 2.0GHz Octa-Core

Alcatel has refreshed their flagship Idol X with a more powerful Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ packed with the newest octa-core processor from MediaTek.

It’s got the same design and full HD 5-inch display but with better hardware.

Alcatel One Touch Idol X+ specs:
5.0 inch full HD 1080p display @ 1920×1080 pixels, 441ppi
Mediatek MT6592 2.0GHz octa-core processor
Mali 450-MP GPU
16GB internal storage
WiFi 802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth 4.0
13MP rear camera, LED flash
GPS w/ aGPS support
Li-Ion 2,500mAh battery
Android 4.2 Jellybean

We’re still not sure if this will arrive in the Philippines since the Idol X has yet to be released locally after it was announced back in February. Perhaps, they’ll skip that one and move ahead to the Idol X+ instead. It’s got a $330 price tag in China so we’re hoping it will be in the vicinity of Php15k when it reaches the country.

Mediatek and no LTE. Why couldn’t they just include a 720p screen and throw in LTE ? It would have better battery life and be better all around

  2. Timawa says:

I’d buy that in a heartbeat, if it wasn’t for the lack of LTE.

    No dual sim? Fail!

And still they stick with 16Gb non-expandable internal storage. Alcatel FAIL. TCL FAIL. Bumalik na lang kayo sa pagbenta ng TV.

  5. Pika says:

Rather but XPERIA C or chip in around 3k and get yourselves an XPERIA Z!

    This is nuts.

It’s already available. I just got mine 3 days ago here in Davao City and it’s priced at P15,990. You can check Alcatel PH’s facebook and official PH website.

Big Deal na yung lack of LTE? eh magffacebook lang nman kayo!! Ang tao talaga walang kasiyahan, palagi nalang nakukulangan.. Hindi pa naman namamaximize ang LTE dito satin kaya wag muna kayo atat. By the time na full blown na ang LTE eh sigurado mdami ng bagong phone nun na mas mataas ang specs and with the inclusion of LTE. Hinay hinay lang mga brad.
