Alcatel has always used Android as its weapon of choice when it comes to powering their smartphones, but it looks like its starting to branch out to include Microsoft’s Windows Phone with its entry-level Alcatel One Touch View.
The Alcatel One Touch View smartphone will sport a 4-inch IPS LCD with 480×800 resolution, a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, a VGA front-facing camera, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and 4GB of built-in storage in which 2.9GB will be available to the user. Powering the device is a Snapdragon MSM7227A chipset with a single 1GHz Scorpion core, 512MB of RAM, an Adreno 200 GPU and a 1500mAh battery. As for the OS, it will run Windows Phone 7.8.
It will launch in Russia by the end of the year with a price tag of 8,000 Roubles ($257) or around Php10,600.

hi. lagi po natin tandaan na magkaiba po ang internal memory sa RAM memory.. :D
they both have the same amount of RAM
The Lumia 610 has 256mb of RAM while this has 512mb of RAM
So this can run Skype unlike Lumia 610 because of the 512mb RAM?
lumia 610 is miles better
Alcatel is gaining its momentum. Hope the after sales is ok too. :)
Windows 7.8? Bad timing! There is Windows 8 already…. sigh.
2.9GB user memory? no way!
Sign me up if it will cost around 10k
