It will also be available through Smart Communications and Globe in the coming weeks.
Stay tuned for our first impressions and hands-on.
I am still waiting for the two operators to launch this on their postpaid lines. Any update on this matter? I really wanted to avail this beast phone for postpaid.
You are correct drew and you said it right. If the your intention is for gaming then, choose the right brand and unit that fits your lifestyle. Not all beefy specs are intended for gaming but for office professionals doing heavy multitasking. An engineer like me who used to have more projects and fun of watching movies and doing office works outdoor, then I choose iPhone 6 plus 128GB and Sony Xperia Z Ultra and I found it perfect for my everyday use.
I don’t understand why blackberry need to beef up their specs. It’s not like they have heavy 3D games in their blackberry app world.
Most people wont buy blackberry for gaming only. Is there performance issue with blackberry OS?
Dude, it’s not just for games. The main purpose of that specs are for work. Bigger memory and higher clock frequency means better multitasking. That phone is not meant for everybody though but you can buy that if ever you will need that one.
My daily driver is a BlackBerry Q5 but I also use my Z10 for games and for watching movies using the HDMI output of the device onto the large TV screen.
I can say that both devices, with dual core,2 GB RAM, 1.2 and 1.5 GHz respectively, run the OS very smoothly.
Obviously the bigger specs is designed for improved performance in Apps. (maybe games too).
