The Cherry Mobile Cosmo has been enjoying a really nice position as one of the most affordable Android phones in the market at only Php6,899. I got one here given to me by Cherry Mobile so I thought it would be better if I just give it away to readers.
For an entry-level Android smartphone, the Cosmo actually has pretty decent specs (very similar to the HTC Hero, my very first Android phone 2 years ago).
In fact, at the price point of Php6,899, many folks consider this phone as a WiFi tethering device that’s a better alternative than the Php6k-worth Huawei E5. We listed the Cosmo in our round-up of cheapest Android phones under Php10k here.

Cherry Mobile has also been busy doing local development (I am told they got Chinese engineers imported from the mainland just to do R&D and technical support as well as repairs) to get all their Android phones the latest update so it won’t be long until we see a Gingerbread update on the Cosmo too.
The CM Cosmo would be ideal to those who just want to have a first taste at Android or for people who love rooting their Android phone and tinkering around with a custom ROM without fear of bricking an expensive handset (though I don’t think you can even brick it that way).

@sir yugatech, ok po ba ang cosmo? worth buy ba po siya for almost 6.9k? ok ba ang battery life and ok ba ang touch feelings ba niya?? sorry for more question. and tnx.
bought it last week. ok siya as smartphone. solid construction with aluminium casing. major drawbacks lang ay yung medyo maikli ang battery life and yung medyo low quality camera( comparable to x8 quality but only 2mp)
halos pareho ang performance sa galaxy mini pero sa gaming mas ok siya lalo na dahil sa hvga resolution.
