Cherry Mobile Flame goes on sale for P6,299

Listen to article

A few weeks back, Cherry Mobile teased us with new phones on their Facebook page, the Flame and the Omega.

While the Omega is still unavailable, the Flame already showed up for sale online at Berlein. The selling price of the Cherry Mobile Flame will be at Php6,299.

The device features dual SIM, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as dual cameras with a 5 megapixel AF Camera and flash – all run by a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The 4.5-inch display is the main prize here however. It packs a qHD resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. Rarely that we see qHD dual-core phones at such affordable prices.

The Cherry Mobile Flame is expected to hit this December; will you be getting one?

Cherry Mobile Flame specs:
4.5″ qHD Display (960×540 pixels)
1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon CPU
512 MB RAM
4 GB Memory (expandable by micro SD)
5 AF megapixel camera with flash
VGA front facing camera
Android 4.0
Wi-Fi
Bluetooth 2.1

I am a Flame user. So sad

‘yong battery lang ang medyo problema sa Flare kung gagamitin mo sabay ang wi-fi at games, 1 day lng need to charge na

So i did, Went coz that was the unit ive been waiting for, In ROB manila they have 1demo unit from a guy who works their, It seems the UI interface is moving so slow (lag) (latency) or watever so i tried changing the theme i went into the settings UI overlay seems good and fast but when you go out to the main screen where you can find all your stuff dammit i was dissapointed again UI interface is moving so slow (lag) (latency) or watever. Im decided to buy one so ask them to get me a new one, we actually opened one out of the box, Its the same issue. My friend just bought a FLARE and its speed on ICS is great I own a W900 it runs absolutley FAST. Im moving to OMEGA if thats the case i already have a 4″incher i want a bigger one for me and my girlfriend!!! IF anyone can tell how to get around it id LOVE to go back to the kiosk and BUY ONE!

Cherry mobile quote: this is the best smartphone we could give for that price, always remember the saying ” you get what you pay for” so don’t ask for heaven & earth for that price.

hindi po pwede araw-araw ay fiesta. binigay na ng cherry mobile ang bottom price sa flare, hindi pwede presyong palugi ito flame. kung bababaan nila price nito cguro after christmas na or sa january 2013, for the reason na marami pa kc pera ang tao now.

i already have this unit, bought it a few hours ago, ganda ng screen resolution, wifi is also very smoooth downloaded a few games and apps. battery life is fine.

all in all its a nice phone, price lang talaga ang issue. pero its not that expensive since it is covered by the 15 day replacement unit warranty plus the 1 year service and part warranty. this phone is still much cheaper than the cloudfone 430x. at least ito tested na charger unlike yung isa na may exploding charger issue.

Seems too middle of the pack. Not too cheap at 6.3k and specs not too impressive with 512mb of RAM. I would think Flare is a cheaper alternative and Omega the better specs

For a phone that size, that price is cheap!!!!!!!

of course quality will still and always be a factor…
