Google releases Chrome 64 on Android, improves built-in pop-up blocker

A new and improved Google Chrome on mobile is rolling out now dubbed Chrome 64, this update brings with it some tweaks and changes including a much stronger pop-up blocker.

Android is getting a head start on the stable release of Chrome’s latest update with the rollout slated at a later date for Windows, Mac, and Linux. As for the changes, we have the usual bug fixes and general browser performance enhancements. The pop-up blocker was also improved as pop-up redirects would now be blocked and users would no longer be automatically navigated to the new tab. Instead of an immediate navigation to the page, Chrome will show users a native UI wherein they could decide whether or not to follow the redirect.

Apart from this major change, a lot of other features were added for developers. You can check out the changelog here. The update will come out to Android users in the coming weeks, so be sure to check out your Play Store regularly.

Hindi pa matagal ng ilabas ang chrome 63. Napansin ko may konting issues ang 63 but not alarming.

I installed samsung ad blocker kaya wala na ung 1 page ad sa phone ko whenever i open yugatech. Ang hirap i-close ang mga ads na un.
