HTC Butterfly 2 4G set to launch, is exclusive to Asia

Fans of HTC’s first Full HD smartphone will be glad to know that the long-rumored successor, the HTC Butterfly 2 4G, has already been approved and could soon launch. Read more details including the specs list after the jump.

Here are some of what we could be seeing once the new HTC Butterfly 2 4G makes its debut:

5-inch display @ 1920 x 1080 resolution
2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor
2GB RAM
16GB internal storage
13MP rear and 5MP front cameras
Support for GSM, WCDMA LTE 700MHz, LTE 800MHz, and LTE 1900MHz
Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC

It recently got its certification from the NCC (Taiwan’s equivalent of FCC) which means the company could schedule its launch anytime soon. Just like its predecessor, the Butterfly 2 4G model will only be limited to Asia as the US previously had the Verizon-exclusive HTC DROID DNA.

We’ve found the Butterfly to have an impressive display, great performance, and a nice solid design during our review. Hopefully these will all get carried over to the new device when it arrives.

this is high end, a lower tier to the flagship so expect na lang kayo 25k-29k pesos yan pagrelease dito. of course the LTE band will be changed kapag philippines version, wag shunga! this is branded taiwan, not branded china like xiaomi so dont expect miracles.

You can get a pocket wifi with 10gig monthly allow for just 11000 korean won or about 400pesos (unit device one te price is 80000 won or about 3500pesos)…. this is the lowest plan they have. Panalo talaga!!!

Dapat ito ang nireplicate ng ating gov or ng telcos… kaya pag bakasyon ko po ng pinas, nanibago ako sa connection.
