In addition to the Honor 2, Huawei also announced their first 5-incher in the form of Ascend D2. The new quad-core smartphone would be the successor of the Ascend D Quad XL.
The new device will sport a quad-core processor with 1.5GHz clock speed backed with 2GB of RAM. Huawei has equipped the phone with a 13MP main camera which is coupled with a 1.3MP front-facing camera. The phone will be powered by 3000mAh battery pack and will come pre-installed with Android Jelly bean.
As we mentioned earlier, the Ascend D2 will be the first 5-inch smartphone on Huawei’s lineup, although it’s uncertain if it’ll boast a full HD display.
Pricing was not yet discussed during the announcement, but the company mentioned that they plan to launch the device early next year.

‘wa-wey’
unless they price this cheaper than the Lenovo K860 this does not have a snow ball’s chance in hell
A next year release is already too late. These companies don’t seem to learn that when you announce – you should also release very soon if not immediately.
Wow. nice phone. too many nice phones to choose from. tight on the budget though
