Intex Mobile coming in with Dual-SIM phones

We featured an Intex phone with pico projector here a while ago. They also have a couple of really affordable, entry-level dual-SIM phones coming out.

This one is the Intex IN6660 which is a full screen, dual-SIM WiFi phone.

Yugatech 728x90 Reno7 Series

It’s got a 3.5″ capacitive screen, 3MP camera, WiFi 802.11 b/g, Bluetooth, microSD card slot, FM Radio w/ recording and comes with two 1400mAh batteries.

The design looks like a Nokia N8, though it feels like because of the plastic body while the UI somewhat resembles the one in the LG Cookie (the unlock slider and off definitely came from iOS).

This other one is the Intex IN6633, a full-qwerty dual-SIM phone that’s pretty basic it only has FM radio, Bluetooth, and 2MP camera.

It’s got the Nokia E71 look to it too.

We still don’t have the suggested retail price but I am told it they will be sold competitively (prolly as affordable or even less than similarly spec’ed MyPhone or CM phone). Intex is an Indian mobile phone manufacturer.

The new gadget from Intex resembles like the existing other brand of phones, it’s only unique by its name.

Those are generic phones made in China and are cheaply available in Shenzen. Intex might have just rebranded it…

Intex is an Indian based mobile company just like Olive. Bought an Olive touch/wifi phone a month ago out of curiosity and i’d say overall it is really better than generic phones from China.
