Jollibee WAP Delivery

You can now order a Chicken Joy meal over your mobile phone’s Smart WAP site. Was just informed last week that the new Jollibee Delivery service is available on the Smart 3G Portal.

Jollibee DeliveryIf you’re on Smart GPRS, you should be able to see the link on the front page of the portal. Accessing/browsing the Jollibee WAP Delivery site is free and you can order any of the listed meals right on your phone.

Here’s a short guide to go about it:

1) Visit the Smart 3G Portal (wap.smart.com.ph) and click on the Jollibee Delivery link.

2) Register your complete name, address and landline (in applicable).

3) Select your meals on the order form.

4) Select the “Checkout” link if you’re done. Running total will be displayed.

You will receive an SMS alert from 2929 informing you of the order confirmation. Minimum order is Php165 and can be availed between 7am to 9pm daily. Payment is COD (cash-on-delivery) so prepare for exact change. You can edit your profile to add as many as 10 addresses so you can opt to have the food delivered to your home (by default), your office, or wherever you are. The system will prompt you which address you want it delivered before confirmation.

Been trying it for several days now on my 2 phones and only got it working after I switched to Smart GPRS (not Smart Internet). I was told that orders have been coming in on a daily basis since they launched this. However, the volume wasn’t that impressive. My guess is that people still want to talk to a customer rep when ordering food — picky people like me want additional instructions that aren’t available via WAP (like no ice on the drinks or breast part instead of thigh part for the chicken).

“Accessing/browsing the Jollibee WAP Delivery site is free” – good news! We always patronize the service if it’s for free lols. But i’d rather call the hotline instead of using the wap. It’s more convenient to me.

they should have at least put an additional info text box so that people can input their special request when ordering.

Would Smart try to classify their customers with this? What about those that don’t have gprs capable phones?
