Lenovo Vibe S1 Rumored to Have Two Front Cameras

The Lenovo Vibe S1 has recently passed through TENAA, the Chinese equivalent of FCC, to get a seal of approval from the agency to be sold in China. As a customary protocol, the agency has taken photos of the smartphone and one of the pictures reveals that it might not just be another mid-range smartphone.

That is because the frontal shot of the Vibe S1 shows two openings on the right side of the handset’s earpiece. It obviously sparked speculations that these might dual selfie cameras with 5-megapixel resolution.

This is not first time that we chanced upon the Vibe S1. We’ve reported about it back in February as part of the massive leak which feature five smartphones that are on Lenovo’s pipeline, including theVibe Shot.

As the month went on, more details about the handset surfaced online. It is believed that the handset will sport a 5-inch 1080p display and will run on a typical midrange engine comprising of an octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage.

If these speculations turned out to be true, then the Lenovo Vibe S1 could just very well be the world’s first smartphone with two front cameras.
