I’ve been waiting for Globe to have this unit available for recontracting. been calling their Customer Service once a week for the past 3 weeks. still nothing.
even though every single cellphone store around metro manila already have it on display, Globe still don’t seem to have allocated stock for Loyalty customers.

Question lang po. I got the g3 from globe through the postpaid plan, so I know na globe locked sya. But when I tried using my smart sim, may signal naman and nakakasend/receive pa din ng call and text. So does that mean na nde globe locked ung phone ko? Sorry ngayon lang kasi ako nag android hehe. Sa iphone kasi nde talaga narecognized other sims. Thanks!

How about concentrate na lang tayo sa value using comparison ng specs versus other gadgets esp iphone 5s at samsung s5. Hands down na ba kung plan 1799?

How about comparing value still ng mga lower plans for it thru cashouts? Eto gusto kong marinig.

If they offered the 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage variant, I would probably avail of this kahit dun sa 1299.

  8. Avatar for mafioso mafioso says:

@archie, actually the G3’s battery definitely last more than 6 hours of use. And I don’t find any trouble with app compatibility. Were you able to experience one to make that conclusion?

Sayang, kaka 1 week pa lang ng g2 ko,when I asked them kasi about g3,wala pa.daw sila balita kung may plan

Super Cash Grab Plan 30 months= PNP 53,970 Wow!

    • Avatar for archie archie says:

More like Globe’s Super Greedy Promo.

    • Avatar for Dicube Dicube says:

@zarne ang 53K na tinutukoy mu ay load mu siguru yan, siguro kung ang purpose mu bumili ng G3 at 26K at e-display lang sa aparador at di mag-load ok yan.

    • Avatar for archie archie says:

@Dicube P1799 x 30 months= P53,970.

well the monthly you are paying to globe includes also (as posted above, 55 free call to all net, 1100 text to all net, 3 (?) gig cap internet, spotify use, etc. every month which is roughly around Php1700++ per month. its like you are paying for the services only.

The problem lang eh, the gadget you are using will have an upgrade about a month or so. Which is if you are a type of person who upgrades everytime may bago, eh just forget about Globe plan…

    • Avatar for check check says:

@archie 1799 x 30 =53,970 but supersurf is already included (999×30=29970) so parang bumili ka ng phone worth 24,000 only na may free calls and text

    • Avatar for Dicube Dicube says:

@archie when i bought an smartphone i have plan to use the net / frequent calls to globe,tm,TnT and smart. merun kasing tao na using an iphone nga peru nakikitxt naman or nakikitawag, simpleng tao lang po tayu di natin nilalabas ang phone kapag maraming tao para ipakita lang.

    • Avatar for Dicube Dicube says:

@archie smartphone nga peru tumatambay sa starbucks nakiki-wifi so dont tell me about mathematics cuz its not its about the purpose.

    • Avatar for archie archie says:

@Dicube can’t do simple math? basic computation hurt your brain? Math and science are the main reason why you’re enjoying technologies.

      Why I think it’s a rip off:
      Globe’s G3 16gb: P24,000 (P80 x 30 months)
      Outright G3 32gb: 26,500

QHD price? Somewhere around 3k-5k of production cost so you’ll get the idea how much is LG G3’s actual worth without that overkill display. I didn’t include globe’s plan at the computation because I’m just arguing about the gadget.

Just a difference of P2,500 and you’ll get the higher specs. That’s why I said earlier that it could be better if you buy outright then just use your existing plan or prepaid sim.

Prepaid load is getting cheaper and affordable, Wifi connection is everywhere. 3000 mAh battery for a QHD display? Wait 3-4 months and notice your battery’s degrading performance due to continuous QHD’s power hogging abuse. Wait 2-3 months and there’ll be new phones better and cheaper than this. Nope I don’t own G3 and I will never buy such a rip off gadget.

That’s the problem with people, you criticize a product and they tell you moronic arguments like ‘nasubukan mo na ba’ or ‘wala ka sigurong pambili’. And those are the same exact reasons why manufacturers love having stupid consumers who are willing to pay for everything they offer without weighing things first.

Marketing’s juicy words are different from an engineer’s point of view but hey, people are stupid so they’re still going to buy G3 anyway.

    • Avatar for Andy Andy says:

Talaga lang ha wifi connection is everywhere? Anong klaseng logic ginamit mo? Talo ka pa ng grade 1. Di mo pa siguro natry mag postpaid.

Why don’t you try to compare these:
How much 16GB, 32GB in globe vs LG concept store?
How much unli text, calls in prepaid vs postpaid?
How much mag unlisurf in prepaid vs postpaid? What is the cap for prepaid and for postpaid?
How much magtext or call when roaming in prepaid vs postpaid?
Sum it all up and then see it yourself. Your comparison logic sucks big time.

Sobrang closed-minded. Think out of the box naman minsan.

    • Avatar for Dicube Dicube says:

@archie hay naku naisip muba ang pinagsasabi mu umabot kana sa wifi / battery / prepaid. Pre the argument is you question the 53K(P1799 x 30 months= P53,970)simply lang po kung gagamit ka ng smartphone and you always surf / call /txt then you get the 1799.
