Nokia introduces the Lumia 820

After introducing the flagship Lumia 920, Nokia announced their second Windows Phone 8 device – the Nokia Lumia 820.

The Nokia Lumia 820 carries the same Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset with dual-core 1.5 GHz Krait processors and Adreno 225 GPU as the Lumia 920. It doesn’t have an HD display but has a 4.3-inch WVGA (480×800) AMOLED with ClearBlack technology instead.

It sports an 8 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens but misses out on PureView technology. An 8 GB of internal storage is on board which can be expanded via microSD, LTE connectivity, NFC, wireless charging support and a decent 1650 mAh battery.

Obviously it’s a toned down version of the Lumia 920 but packs more punch compared to the old Lumias.

Nokia Lumia 820 specs:
4.3″ AMOLED display with ClearBlack @ 480×800 pixels
Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 1.5GHz dual-core, Krait processor
Adreno 225 GPU
1GB RAM
8GB internal storage
microSD support
LTE
NFC
8MP rear camera, LED flash
1080p video recording
1650mAh Li-Ion battery
Windows Phone 8
