Iâ€™m just going to askâ€¦. I donâ€™t own a Lumia phone but my brotherâ€™s office mate told him that Lumiaâ€™s hardware is full of junk (recycled hardware from other nokia phones) and he added that in time, the Lumia phones will malfunction blah blah blahâ€¦.. Is that true?? Did you encounter any malfunctions while using your Lumia handset? Thanks for the answer. :)

I finally got internet sharing to work by resetting the phone. My mistake was I changed the default username and password. I thought it wouldn’t matter if I personalized it. Anyway, so long as it is working, I’m a happy camper.

I also updated mine, but im not getting notification, i just connected it to zune and got 3 updates, 2 from ms and 1 from nokia. So far so good. Internet sharing is working on my lumia 800.

Last week, I had a notice from Phone Updates on my phone that there is an update, so when I plugged the phone to my laptop/zune, it updated the firmware twice.

My phone is also globe locked.

How did you update to the latest firmware, because when i tried it using zune, it just keeps on telling mine is updated when its not. My phone is globe locked

Finally, my lumia 800 has been updated to the latest firmware and I now have internet sharing. My laptop is able to see and connect to the wifi connection, unfortunately, there is no internet connection (I have an unlisurf plan), I tried to investigate and what I got is DNS SERVER ERROR.

I called Globe and Nokia about this, but none of the two knows how to fix the problem.

My second problem is, my wii is able to see the wifi connection, but i cannot connect to it.

I appreciate any advice you guys can give me.

Go to settings>email accounts>add your Facebook account then check mo Messaging mo, there’s an option for threads and online, swipe it to the right, automatic na un connected sa fb chat.
