OnePlus 5 is now official

As anticipated, OnePlus has finally unveiled its latest flagship after it has leaked for numerous times online.

The OnePlus 5 is the company’s 5th flagship smartphone. It’s got everything we expected from the flagship killer including dual rear cameras. It still has a 5.5-inch Full HD Optic AMOLED display from its predecessor but it’s now powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.

There’s no astounding screen-to-body ratio like the Galaxy S8 or LG G6 but we get two rear cameras with 2x zoom telephoto lens and a f/1.7 aperture on the main shooter. This allows the OnePlus 5 to capture better images and create a bokeh effect.

At 7.25mm, it’s the thinnest phone OnePlus has made but not the most original in terms of design. Nevertheless, it’s crafted from anodized aluminum for a premium build. It still has a 3.5mm audio jack but no water and dust resistance.
