Pre-Order the Nokia E7 at Php32,000

Listen to article

Just in case you did not notice the large Nokia E7 banner ad on the side of the blog, I’d like to point out that Nokia Philippines has opened online pre-orders for the handset since Monday up until March 22.

Posted my full review if the Nokia E7 here 2 weeks ago.

The Nokia E7 retails for Php32,000 and will come with a bundled portable DC11-K charger. To go to the pre-order page, just click on that large banner on the right.

P.S. Nokia Philippines is an advertiser on this blog.

Sir Yuga,

Any news if the HTC 7 Pro will be arriving in the Philippines. I don’t like Symbian. It’s an antique that will be on display in museums soon. hehe..

Wag tayo masyado mgreact mga peeps. Sa umpisa lang yan mahal. Bagong labas kc, kaya expect niyo masyado mataas at garapal ang price ng Nokia Philippines. Di na kayo nasanay.
From 32,000 expect niyo bababa siya ng 7,000-10,000. So after 1 to 3 months nasa 22-25T nlng siya. Like nung bagong labas ang N8, ngstart siya ng 25,000, pero ngaun nasa 18-19T nlng siya. But for a price like that i would rather go for an Apple Ipad2 or Blackberry Playbook w/c is worth 24,000($500) lng sa U.S.

Siempre mas mahal yang e7 sa n8 dahil sa qwerty keypad hardware which is very good sa mga mahilig magtext talaga… For me i own n900, n97, 5800, and an iphone 4 but my main phone is n97.

easy to copy and paste kapag may physical keyboard talaga kasi may ctrl.

Naging mahal din yung e7 dahil bigger screen, plus the fact na may clearblack display siya unlike n8. Alphanumeric keypad is so old na. And the virtual qwerty keyboard walang panlaban sa hardware qwerty keypad talaga.

——–

About android, wala din… i can’t even send to more than 10 unknown numbers sa messaging. Nay limit ang “recipient” field.

———

And besides, e7 can handle USB-on-the-go better than n8 (based sa maraming US reviews) – it can even detect other phones na nakaattach sa kanya. Yung n8 nakakadetect pero sumasablay pag pareho niyang n8 ang nakasaksak or samsung.

I’m already using this phone w/c I bought outside, I do agree with you guys Symbian will die after two years, for the apps well there are still plenty useful apps but don’t expect much like android or iOS. The OS have lags and some hangs compared to the smooth Iphone 4. Still I like this phone because of the qwerty keyboard which is ideal for business use and it makes me type fast, I also like the Swype function when using in landscape mode, but on vertical mode, goodluck in typing ABCs and 1234567890, it really sucks, it doesnt have qwerty… I still recommend Nokia E7 for those who are Nokia loyal fans who owned E90 and wanted to upgrade for a touch screen. Btw the phone is pretty straight forward, no fuss on page transitions unlike Iphone 4, simple yet useful enough.

what is nokia thinking? Mashadong mahal. At that price you could get a better smartphone with faster processor, better OS and better camera. tsk tsk. Not worth buying at this price.

Hayyyssss….. Consumers should be educated more with the specs, pros and cons, and the ideal software/s and everything so that they’ll avoid wasting their money in some “premium” products which actually just have a premium brand name.

Considering it’s older brother, the N8, can be gotten for 21k nowadays, I can’t see how Nokia can justify that price tag. The only thing the E7 has over the N8 is the keyboard and the larger screen. That can’t cost 11k especially when you consider that the E7 has an inferior camera and lens.

Hey, this phone is targeted towards business people so don’t expect that this device will attract consumers. For some reason, executives still prefer Symbian OS for their stability.

The problem with that is RIMM will be the device of choice for executives.

Symbian had a very small ecosystem when it was fully supported by Nokia, but I’m afraid it will just get worse now that W7 is in the picture.

I want Nokia to be able to get their fanbase back, but the price for this unit wont help.

Well, with Nokia supporting WP7, Symbian is simply at the verge of death. Goodbye to the OS that started the age of Smartphones. I had good memories using Symbian OS ever since i acquired a Nokia 6600. Goodbye to the OS that started it all.

IMO I would shy away from a Nokia smartphone running symbian OS cause Nokia is about to go Windows afaik this year, the future of symbian devices doesn’t look so good..I would rather buy an Android smartphone there are a number of handsets available in the market right now at a third of the price as that of E7

Wow! I was expecting na mas mahal pa considering na flagship model ito ng Nokia. P32,000 is really worth your money for this premium phone.

WTH??? Ang mahal!!! Xperia Arc na ako kung ganyan din price niyan. Kala ko mga 20k-25k lang. No thanks. Even though I’m a symbian fan, I won’t buy a symbian handset as expensive as that one. Android, here I come. :)
