That is mainly a news and current magazine and NOT a magazine dedicated to gadgets and new technologies. Two of the leading TECH magazines in the world, T3 and STUFF magazine both named the SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 and NOT the iPhone5 (whose only new feature is a fifth row of icons. LOL) as MOBILE PHONE OF THE YEAR.

CNET, the most popular tech blog in the world, has also named the S3 as its mobile phone of the year.

In terms of sale, there are NO reports yet saying that the iPhone 5 has already surpassed the sales of the S3. But what is remarkable is the fact that the S3 has surpassed the sales of the iPhone 4s considering that the samsung flagship phone came out much later than the 4s.
