Xiaomi Redmi – 4.7-inch HD, quad-core for Php6,000

Xiaomi, a well-known smartphone brand in China, has just unveiled their latest Android smartphone that packs impressive mid-range specs coupled with an equally impressive entry-level price tag, the Redmi.


The Xiaomi Redmi is a dual-SIM droid that sports a 4.7-inch HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 2, a MediaTek quad-core CPU, 1GB RAM, and an 8 megapixel f/2.2 aperture camera.

The Xiaomi Redmi will arrive in Singapore on February 21 with a price tag of S$169 or around Php6,000 when converted.

    I think, it has great specs relative sa price. Diba? Good for youngsters. If Xiaomi is a premium phone maker and they can make such phone, why cant samsung?

    Not yet sold outside China other than in Singapore. Mostly sold online and from local carriers. A better phone is the Huawei Honor 3C or the higher spec’d 3X.

    Similar in specs wt lenovo a706, bit bigger screen @4.7 after taxes n duties , same price .
