User of Sony Xperia T, Xperia TX, and Xperia V are now finally joining the Android 4.3 bandwagon. Though it’s “0.1” behind KitKat, it’s still an important update.

New features include:
– Project Butter improvements with smoother graphical experience
– Updated Sony native apps (Messaging, Small apps, Smart Connect, etc..)
– Updated Sony Media apps (WALKMAN, Album, and Movies)
– Xperia Themes
– Security enhancements
– Battery Stamina Mode

As usual, arrival of the update may vary depending on market and carrier. If you already received the update, feel free to share it in the comments field below.

Light this time is reflected on inclusions positioned parallel with each other.

Spring cleaning is such a huge task because you
have actually spent so much time in the house all winter.
Now that you have picked a healing stone for yourself you need to know how to cleanse and program it
for optimal healing benefits, and how to use the healing stone.

I’m interested in buying an Xperia T/TX
besides TCP, where can I buy a good deal?

Inb4 Xperia Store, they don’t have the T or TX.
Inb4 get an xperia z1, I don’t like the design and I don’t intend to play catchup with kitkat or be in the new. I only want a daily driver.

Hope about you buy online, kimstore perhaps?

About the topic, I take back what I said. The 4.3 update made the xperia v more amazing [except for battery life, its even worst] since I can now use the volume buttons as camera shutter.

Which I can use to take pictures underwater, I did encounter the camera bug after the update but is has been fix just by re-installing 4.3.

I called Kimstore a few days earlier, they said the T is phased out. *soniamdisappoint.png*
The last chance I can get an Xperia T with ICS / 4.1 JB is in Robinson’s Manila.

I’ll keep my JB at 4.1 if that’s the case.

Ala paring available update saken. I tried checking OTA and PC companion, still no avail. Also may mga vids na akong na kita sa youtube and xperiablog.net. Na nung na update na ung phone “Xperia V” to 4.3, ang pangit na ng camera specially to low light areas unlike noong 4.1.2.

I guess I’ll just have to pass for this update and just accept that 4.1.2 is best for Xperia V.

    Cheers to all..

The best thing you could do right now is to contact Sony Mobile’s support. Try to give them the important details about your phone (e.g. Software Version, Serial Number, IMEI).

I’m afraid it’s more of a technical problem on Sony’s side and it’s best that you should let them know what difficulties you’re encountering.

good evening dags may i ask how did you upgrade ur phone via pc companion can u tell me how step by step?

    • Avatar for dags dags says:

It’s easy…just download the PC Companion software from sonymobile.com, install it on your PC, connect your phone via USB into your PC and just follow the on-screen instructions. The PC Companion software will give you the guide. Good luck and happy updating!

Just faced a similar situation here when I attempted to update the Xperia V I passed down to my little brother. Turns out that scanning OTA updates could be a hit or miss so I decided to try updating via PC companion and it picked the update without a hitch.

Good to hear that Sony still cares about updating their older smartphones into a more recent version of Android.

    *cough* HTC *cough*

HTC is the worst company ever. A year from now, we wouldn’t be hearing the word “HTC” anymore.

      @Yusuf
HTC is slowly falling apart. The most recent damage they received is when they lost the legal battle against Nokia, causing a sales ban of select HTC smartphones in Germany.
